Hello Sagefield Community; we would like to thank Sheriff Sid Gautreaux and EBRSO Gardere Substation Commander-Capt. Lee Henderson, EBRSO Deputies, and other law enforcement personnel, along with Councilman Rowdy Gaudet, as they conducted a Community walk that started at the BREC BEN Burge Park On Elvin Drive on Monday, February 26th at 4.00 pm. The deputies walked through Sagefield, Old Hermitage, Gardere, and Cross Creek subdivisions, along with volunteers from surrounding neighborhoods, knocking on doors and talking with residents, asking about their concerns and what they could do to improve security in the area. The walk ended back at Brec Ben Burge Park with about 40 volunteers, including the Sagefield HOA President Larry Galloway, Sagefield CPID Chairman Roger Bazile, and 3 Members of the CPID Board, Mr. Donald Goore, Mrs. Monica Goree, and Estelita Baptiste. I hope there are more community walks like this to show that law enforcement is concerned about the East Baton Rouge residents.
