Important Information about the Sagefield Holiday Lighting Contest:

The Sagefield Holiday Lighting Contest will be launching soon, and we have all the information you need to participate on the Sagefield Homeowners Website. Start registering now.

The contest welcomes all residents of Sagefield. To enter, just ensure your lights are up before the official judging date, which will be announced shortly. There is no entry fee, making it easy for everyone to join in on the fun!

Judging will take place on a designated date in December. A panel of community judges will walk through the streets to evaluate the displays based on creativity, effort, and overall holiday spirit. In past years, houses putting up vibrant light displays have seen over 50 percent more visitors during the holidays, so let’s get festive!

Sagefield Christmas Lighting Contest rules

1. Participation is open to the Sagefield Residents only.

2. Entry is free; no cost or fees apply.

3. The contest is for exterior decorations only, including decorations in windows that are visible from the exterior.

4. Judging will be based on “curb appeal” as viewed from the street only. Therefore, only those decorations located on the street side of the property will be judged (corner lots will be judged from both streets).

5. Contest will begin Friday, November 22nd.

6. Judging will be done from:

Friday, December 13th - 6:00PM - 8:00PM and Saturday December 14th 6:00PM - 8:00PM

The presentation to the winners will be announced on Sunday, December 15th

7. Participants should ensure that all lights, animations, and decorations are in place and activated for the judging period on Friday, December 13th, by 6 PM.

The first-place winner will receive bragging rights, a custom Yard Sign for the month, and a 1st place ribbon and name recognition with a picture of the home on the Sagefield Homeowners Website.

The Second Place winner will receive a 2nd place ribbon and recognition on the Sagefield Homeowner's Website.

The Third Place winner will receive a 3rd place ribbon and recognition on the Sagefield Homeowner's Website.
